Why We Do It
SEN teaching can be incredibly rewarding, but it also presents unique
challenges - especially when it comes to finding practical and
easy-to-use materials. Many teachers end up creating their own resources from
scratch, and parents often struggle to find free, accessible tools that suit
their child's level. SENResource.com was built to help bridge this gap. Our
aim is to create a supportive space where knowledge is shared, creativity is
encouraged, and everyone working with SEN learners can benefit from the
experience of others. By keeping our platform free and open for contribution,
we hope to reduce workload, save time, and strengthen the SEN community as a
whole.
How You Can Help
The growth of this site depends on the generosity and collaboration of its
users. If you have created a worksheet, activity, visual timetable, or any
other SEN-friendly tool, we encourage you to upload it in PDF format so
others can benefit. If your file isn't already a PDF, simply open it in your
preferred software and choose “Save As” or “Export” to PDF. Every upload
helps someone - whether a newly qualified teacher looking for materials, a
parent working at home, or a support assistant preparing for next week's
sessions.
Additionally, we offer a small selection of paid products on our shop page.
Purchases help support the running costs of the website, allowing us to keep
the resource library free for everyone. If you find the site useful and want
to support us financially, this is a great way to help.
SENResource.com is built on the belief that collaboration leads to better
outcomes for children. We want contributors to feel valued and supported, so
we welcome a wide range of resource types such as simple one-page visuals to
full teaching packs. Our community includes teachers, tutors, speech and
language support staff, occupational therapists, educational psychologists,
and families.
By uploading or downloading resources, users agree to follow our basic
