SENResource Assessments

At the moment, our assessment collection includes three well-known tools:

  • AQ (Autism Spectrum Quotient) - A questionnaire that helps identify traits associated with autism. It can be a useful starting point for understanding social communication differences, sensory sensitivities, and pattern-based thinking styles.
  • ASRS (Autism Spectrum Rating Scales) - A more detailed rating scale that looks at behaviour, social functioning, and developmental patterns related to autism. This tool allows adults to reflect on a child's everyday experiences across different settings.
  • DST (Dyslexia Screening Test) - A screening tool designed to highlight markers commonly associated with dyslexia, including phonological awareness, memory, and processing skills. It helps to identify whether further assessment or support may be beneficial.

These tools are not diagnostic assessments, but they can give valuable guidance and help you decide whether further professional evaluation might be useful. We aim to present each assessment in a simple, user-friendly format so that you can complete them independently and review clear, meaningful results.

As SENResource continues to grow, we will expand our assessment library to include tools for ADHD, dyspraxia, sensory processing, and broader learning profiles. Thank you for using our platform to better understand unique learners.
