SRS-2 Assessment

Social Responsiveness Scale, Second Edition (SRS-2)

Social Communication & Interaction Screener (SCIS)

This screener explores patterns of social communication and interaction that may differ from what is typically expected. Differences in social communication are common in autism, social anxiety, and other neurodevelopmental conditions — and are not a measure of intelligence or character.

This questionnaire can be completed by the individual themselves, or by a parent, teacher, or carer who knows the person well. If completing it about someone else, answer based on how they typically behave, not how you think they should behave.

Three areas explored:
  • Reading Social Cues: Ability to perceive and interpret subtle social and emotional signals from others.
  • Expressive Communication: How naturally and adaptably you communicate in social contexts.
  • Social Flexibility: Comfort with varied, unpredictable, or unstructured social situations.

30 questions · approximately 8–10 minutes
